Is there an account? No. Notes stay on the phone.
Does Talk use an outside AI? Not in this version. Typed replies are written on the phone. There is no live voice call and the microphone is not used.
Can I report or block someone? Yes. On a community post, choose Report, Block, or Email support. In a chat, use Report or Block.
Where is my health data? On the phone, and in Apple Health or Health Connect if you allowed that. M Patel does not receive it.
What is the fertile window? An estimate from the period dates you log. It is not contraception and not a pregnancy test.
Does Tether use my location? Only if you turn on Match background to my weather. That setting is off by default. When it is on, Tether asks for approximate location, rounds it to about 11 km, and asks Open-Meteo for the weather type. Location is not stored, sold, or used for tracking. Turn the setting off, or revoke location in phone Settings, to stop it.
How do I delete Tether’s notes? Settings, Delete your data. That does not delete Apple Health or Health Connect.
On Android, health cards read Health Connect, not Apple Health. Install Health Connect if your phone asks for it, then open Tether and tap Connect Health Connect. You can allow steps, sleep, heart rate, blood pressure, and the other cards one by one. Period logs are requested only if you turn the cycle tracker on. Tether can write water, meals you confirm, weight, height, mindful minutes, and period logs back to Health Connect. Turn access off in the Health Connect app at any time. Empty cards stay empty.
On iPhone the same cards use Apple Health. You can use Tether without allowing it. Cards stay empty until you allow access. You can turn access off in the iPhone Settings app.
